Our Rx insert is the best and most comfortable way to wear your prescription while protecting your eyes in style. You'll need to take your Rx insert to an optician who makes the prescription glasses in-house. Not every optician does it. There are also online services that do this process. It may be an extra step, but it's definitely worth it!

Imagine a lens that changes tint as it gets brighter or darker. This technology makes your sunglasses darker when it’s sunny, and less dark (almost clear) when it’s darker.

  • One size fits most

    We designed the contact points with different head shapes and sizes in mind. The temple tips are made out of rubber that molds to your ear. Your nose tip has 3 adjustable levels.

  • UV rays protection

    All our lenses are rated UV400. They block 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

  • Weight

    At 32 grams or 1.13 ounces, our sunglasses are among the lightest on the market. This weight includes the frames, nose tip and lens.

  • Accessories

    Included with every purchase: Hard case, soft pouch, Rx insert and microfiber cloth. Ships in premium packaging.

  • Zero fog

    Our open Shield design allows for air to flow and greatly reduce fog during sprints and pedaling uphill. This design doesn’t impact aerodynamics to a measurable level.

Pre-sales customer service was excellent with my order. I received the glasses (with my shipping preference), and they are so lightweight that I hardly notice them when cycling. The clarity and sweat-resistant features are impressive and make a real difference. My Oakley Vanguard is great, but it can't handle sweat, which often blocks my view, and it's heavy on long rides. I truly love these glasses and highly recommend them to outdoor enthusiasts, especially cyclists. The interchangeable lenses option is very convenient, especially with different weather conditions. Great design, great warranty, and I would highly recommend these glasses.

How to Swap Lenses

  1. Hold the frame with your non-dominant hand, close to the lens, not below the hinge.
  2. Pull the lens. Firmly.
  3. Remove the nose tip the same way.
  4. Find the two notches on the sides. These go in first, before the top notches.
  5. Once the side notches are seated, pop the top and center notches in. Insert the nose tip.

About us

We significantly cut down costs by only developing and promoting a single product. Plus, we don’t have distributors. Unlike other brands, we don’t pay rent for physical shops, retail employees, etc. You basically get the price we would give to retailers. This operational simplicity allows us to charge you only for what you want: sunglasses.

We noticed cyclists were stuck with an overpriced pair of performance sunglasses or a cheap piece of plastic with lacking customer experience. GVTY aims to do best of both worlds, deliver exceptional optics, comfort and aerodynamic performance for a fair price.

In 2019, GVTY started in the suburbs of North Vancouver as a family business.

Our passion for cycling runs in our blood, but where did the inspiration to engineer such a product come from?

Vancouver is a world class destination for cycling. But it also has more than 200 cloudy days a year. We don't stop riding, we adapt.

We've designed a pair of sunglasses that are capable in any condition. Rain or shine.
