Frequently asked questions

Can I return it if it’s made for my eyes?
Yes. Same 60-day return policy as the glasses.
What if I can’t see clearly with it?
Email us. If you can’t get used to it within 30 days, we remake it for free.
Who makes the lenses?
They’re fitted to your prescription by an optical lab in Vancouver, BC.
Can I claim it on my benefits?
We don’t submit claims directly, but you’ll get an itemized receipt to make the claim yourself.
What if the format I send you is not right?
We’ll email you within 24 hours.
I already own a Shield. Can I buy just the insert?
Yes. Email us at info@gvty.ca.
Does it work with photochromic?
Yes.
Is an old prescription okay?
Yes. If you ever need a remake, we’ll ask for an updated one.
Do you cover astigmatism?
