I have only been able to use the sunglasses once as the weather turned and we got snow so outside riding is out.
However the time I did use them I found them very good. Comfortable with good sun protection and good visibility.

Late in the season for me to get new glasses but so far…WOW. Received the glasses the day specified and couldn’t wait to use them.

I was a skeptic. I don't usually buy gear where I haven't seen the quality or tried the fit.

I had questions - would they fit my small head, would they be comfortable, did I really need a system with 5 lens, would they resist fogging and scratching, would they be reflection free and distortion free - essentially would they live up to their hype?

The answer was a resounding yes.

Initially, I thought I would simply purchase the photochromic lens to use for races where I always seem to encounter periods of sun, rain, and shadows. I have now used The Shield for both running and cycling. These glasses are so light and comfortable I forget I have them on, but they are in no way flimsy.

I used to get a stiff neck from long days riding aero, where I would have to lift my head slightly to see over the frame of my sunglasses but The Shield has a larger field of vision so I now only have to raise my eyes to see the road ahead - no more sore neck and no more sore ears from the arms rubbing behind my ears!

The clarity and sweat-resistant features are impressive and make a real difference. My Oakley Vanguard is great, but it can't handle sweat, which often blocks my view, and it's heavy on long rides. I truly love these glasses and highly recommend them to outdoor enthusiasts, especially cyclists. The interchangeable lenses option is very convenient, especially with different weather conditions.
